ISSUP Bahamas would like to announce the resignation of Mr. Troy Clarke, who has served faithfully as the Executive Director since the establishment of the ISSUP Bahamas Chapter in 2022. Mr Clarke has been instrumental in leading the Chapter from its initiation, setting the foundation for growth, visibility, and strong collaboration both nationally and internationally. His vision, leadership, and unwavering dedication to advancing drug demand reduction efforts have been truly commendable. On behalf of the Chapter and the entire ISSUP Global family, we extend our sincere gratitude and best wishes to Mr. Clarke as he continues his professional journey.
ISSUP Bahamas remains firmly committed to its mission, and with this transition, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Paulette Bowe Dean as the new Executive Director, designated by the leadership of ISSUP Bahamas.
Ms. Dean has served alongside Mr. Clarke from the very beginning of the Chapter’s formation in 2022 as Assistant Director. She is a seasoned healthcare professional with over four decades of experience in nursing, addiction counselling, psychiatric care, and wellness coaching. Her deep commitment, expertise, and leadership have already played a pivotal role in the development of ISSUP Bahamas.
We are confident that Ms. Dean will continue to strengthen the Chapter’s impact, foster new partnerships, and build on the solid foundation laid under Mr. Clarke’s leadership. We look forward to this new chapter with great enthusiasm.
Welcome, Paulette!
