Dhaka Ahsania Mission organized a daylong social event titled “Stand Together: A Journey from Care to Courage” on 16 February 2026 at Mayer Hashi Mental Health Service Centre, Ashulia, Savar, Dhaka.
The event celebrated unity, resilience, and a shared commitment to mental health, recovery, community support, and a drug-free life. It provided participants with an opportunity to connect, reflect, and stand together in a spirit of hope and courage.
The program was jointly organized by three institutions of Dhaka Ahsania Mission: Ahsania Mission Female Drug Treatment Centre, Monojotno Counselling Centre, and Mayer Hashi Mental Health Service Centre.
The day began with a welcome speech by Mr. Iqbal Masud, Director of Health and WASH, Dhaka Ahsania Mission. Guest speakers included Dr. Khalilur Rahman, Vice President of DAM, and the Director of UNION Pharmaceutical.
Activities throughout the day included games for both male and female participants, cultural performances, recovery sharing sessions, and a raffle draw. During the program, the ISSUP Bangladesh Chapter was introduced, and participants were encouraged to join as members.
