World Drug Day 2026: Youth Webinar

As part of the commemoration of World Drug Day 2026, ISSUP Uganda, hosted by the Uganda Youth Development Link (UYDEL), will participate in an international youth webinar aimed at promoting evidence-based drug prevention and strengthening global youth collaboration.

Organised in partnership with the  Drug Abuse Prevention Centre (DAPC), Japan, the webinar is themed:

“The Evidence is Clear: Invest in Prevention”

The event will bring together young people, prevention practitioners, and partner organisations from Uganda and Japan to exchange experiences, showcase effective prevention initiatives, and explore opportunities for cross-country collaboration in addressing substance use challenges among young people.

The webinar, titled “Youth United Against Drugs: Building an International Platform for Drug Abuse Prevention,”will feature presentations from Uganda and Japan highlighting youth-led prevention efforts and innovative approaches to raising awareness and promoting healthy lifestyles.
