On Wednesday, September 2, 2026, a certificate presentation ceremony was held at the headquarters of the Unión Ferroviaria (Railway Union) for those who completed training under the project "Addiction Prevention and Union Youth: Training Key Figures for a Culture of Care in the Workplace." The training consisted of the "Introduction to Evidence-Based Prevention" (INEP) course—developed by Charles University in the Czech Republic and led by the Forum Vitae Institute of the *Obra Social Ferroviaria* (Railway Workers' Health Plan)—with the support of the Unión Ferroviaria, SEDRONAR, ISSUP Argentina, and Project ECHO.
Attendees at the event included the General Secretary of the Unión Ferroviaria, Sergio Sasia; the Secretary of Labor Relations, Sergio Luciano Sasia; the Regional Coordinator for Latin America for ISSUP National Chapters, Bárbara Correa; Dr. Nicolás Poliansky (ISSUP Argentina chapter and Forum Vitae); and Dr. Roberto Canay, Director of Forum Vitae.
The course lasted three months and was conducted using a hybrid format, combining synchronous and asynchronous sessions. Participants included young people from the Argentine provinces of Mendoza, Buenos Aires (Mar del Plata), Tucumán, Córdoba, Salta, and Santa Fe, as well as from the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
Twenty-two young railway workers completed the course and received their certificates; they expressed their gratitude and highlighted the value of having access to this type of training. They also emphasized the benefits of the virtual format, which enabled participation from across the country, as well as the interactive dynamic with instructors and fellow participants.
