INEP Plus Training (Introduction to Evidence-Based Prevention)

The ISSUP Malaysia National Chapter successfully conducted the INEP Plus Training (Cohort 5) from 14 August to 16 October 2025, engaging a diverse group of participants across Malaysia who are actively involved in prevention, education, and community work.

Throughout the course, participants explored core prevention science principles, effective intervention strategies, and the integration of global frameworks within the local context. The sessions were facilitated by certified INEP Trainers from ISSUP Malaysia, who guided participants through interactive discussions, group tasks, and case study analyses.

By the end of the training, participants demonstrated an improved understanding of prevention systems, evidence-based approaches, and practical tools for implementing sustainable prevention programs in their respective communities.The INEP Plus Training continues to serve as a vital platform for building national capacity and promoting collaboration among prevention professionals in Malaysia and the wider Asian region.
