"NAVCHETNA: A New Consciousness on Life Skills and Drug Education for School Children"

ISSUP India Chapter efficiently conducted a two-day training program for Master Trainers on the NAVCHETNA Module, held from 23rd to 24th January 2024 in Faridabad, Haryana, with support. The primary focus was to enhance awareness and provide education on life skills and drugs to students in schools. The initial training involved four separate batches comprising 120 teachers each. Two more training sessions with four batches each are scheduled for 29th-30th January 2024 and 01st-02nd February 2024.

Faridabad, the most populous city in Haryana, is a key satellite city in the Delhi National Capital Region, situated 284 kilometers south of Chandigarh. The Yamuna River forms its eastern district boundary with Uttar Pradesh. Designated as a Smart City in 2016, Faridabad is an integral part of the Central National Capital Region (CNCR) or Delhi Metropolitan Area (DMA) according to the 2021 Delhi Regional Plan.
