Dr. Ndidi Mercy Ofole
Ndidi Mercy Ofole holds a PhD in Counselling Psychology from the Department of Counselling and Human Development Studies, Faculty of Education, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She is currently a Senior Lecturer in that same Department. She is a member of American Psychological Association (APA) and the immediate past Chairperson of Counselling Association of Nigeria (CASSON), Oyo State Chapter. Ndidi offers counselling services to diverse target populations on the following areas: Adolescents Reproductive Health (ARH), addiction, mental health, drug and substance use prevention, health promotion, etc. She is a Youth Coach who consults for UNICEF, Partnership for African Social and Governance Research (PASGR), Kenya, MDAs, and other NGOs. She is a pioneer member of International Society of Substance Use Prevention and Treatment Professionals (ISSUP) Nigeria, Chapter. She has over 60 publications in peer reviewed journals and have made academic presentations at National and International conferences on harm reduction, drug use prevention, treatment and rehabilitation.
