On behalf of ISSUP Pakistan and Mr. Bashir Ahmad Naz, President of ISSUP Pakistan, I would like to share, once again, that during the Month of June, 2020 four great personalities of Pakistan and our beloved ISSUP Members left us for heaven.
They were all valuable contributors to the field of substance use disorder, education and mental health. They will always be remembered.
We lost Ms. Shahnaz Dar, Executive Director Kuchlak Welfare Society and Member Advisory Board Youth Forum Pakistan (For Substance Use Prevention) by Cardiac arrest.
Dr. Muhammad Tariq Khan Anwo,President Anti Narcotics Welfare Society, succumbed to COVID-19.
Dr. Serwat Jahan Khanum, Associate Professor, institute of Clinical Psychology, UoK also succumbed to COVID-19.
Mr. Mujahid Abbas ISSUP Member and from Umeed Clinic Mir Pur AJK.
Their remarkable services and contributions in the field of SUD and mental health will always be remembered.
May Allah grant them highest place in Jannah and give courage to their family to bear this irreparable loss. Ameen
