STAGE PLAY “MITHA ZAHER” (SWEET POISON) WAS ARANGED BY ISSUP PAKISTAN CHAPTER IN COLLABRATION WITH MIAN AFZAL TRUST HOSPITAL, GUJRANWALA PAKISTAN AND PUNJAB COUNCIL OF ARTS, GUJRANWALA DIVISION IN CONNECTION WITH INTERNATIONAL DAY AGINST DRUG ABUSE AND IL

Mian Afzal Trust Hospital (MATH), Gujranwala Pakistan in collaboration with ISSUP Pakistan Chapter arranged stage play “Mitha Zahar” (Sweet Poison) on 30th June, 2021 to mark international day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking in MATH conference Hall, Gujranwala Renowed Pakistani Actors and Actresses perform in stage play especially, Mr. Akram Uddas, Shazib Akbar, Waseem Dar, Ms Hira and Ms. Tehmina. Story covered different aspects of drug addiction and highlighted importance of treatment of substance users. People enjoyed a lot from play and got information about harms of drugs. Ms. Shamsa, Deputy Director, Punjab Council of Arts Gujranwala Division and  Mr. Sana Ullah Rathore, Director ISSUP Pakistan were the Chief Guests of the Event. In the end Mr. Sana Ullah Rathore, Director ISSUP Pakistan Chapter said that there are 6.7 Million substance user exist in Pakistan as per survey UNODC Pakistan and Government of Pakistan. He also shed light on the importance of prevention activities, especially for youth. He also focused on parenting skill during in his speech. In the end he invited the participants of the event to become member of ISSUP if already not member of ISSUP. Rana Maqsood Ahmad, Deputy Mayor, Gujranwala, Ms. Shamsa, Mr. Sufi Muhammad Javed, were also among the speakers.  All SOPs for prevention of COVID-19 followed during seminar. In the end dinner was served to the guests.
