The present study was intended to explore the relationship between Life Satisfaction and Conflict Management Style in person with Substance Use Disorder. This issue is perceived noticeable. It was hypothesized that there would be a positive relationship between Life Satisfaction and Conflict Management Style in person with substance use disorder. The sample comprised of N=100 indoor patients with substance use disorder from Mian Afzal Trust Hospital Gujranwala. Data were collected by means of self-report, using standardized tools; Life Satisfaction Scale (Pavot & Diener, 1993) and Conflict Management Style Scale (Reginald & Adkins, 2006). Results revealed that life satisfaction has significant positive correlation with conflict management styles (i.e., collaborating, competing, avoiding, accommodating, and compromising) in person with substance use disorder. Meanwhile, life satisfaction scale and conflict management style scale were found to be reliable with acceptable psychometric properties (LSS: ɑ=.68, CMSS: ɑ=.71). Furthermore, Independent sample t-test indicated that there were no significant martial differences in life satisfaction and conflict management style in person with substance use disorder. The findings of the study may prove to be effective for drug treatment professionals to devise a management plan for the person having similar issue.
