Delivering Recovery Support Services: The Allies Link and Lend Inventive Engaging Support Model (ALLIES

The Recovery Support Services Training (Recovery Support Services: The Allies Link and Lend Inventive Engaging Support) was conducted in Tanga, Tanzania, organized by Gift Of Hope Foundation by support of Tanga Yetu Program, Drug Control Enforcement Authority (DCEA), at the COLOMBO Plan to strengthen community-based SUD and mental health support through peer-led approaches. The training recognized the importance of lived experience in promoting recovery, reducing stigma, and improving access to psychosocial support services. It brought together participants involved in SUD, mental health, and community support to enhance their capacity to deliver effective and recovery-oriented peer support services.
