Over the past few months, the Training Team has been steadily laying the groundwork for the future of ISSUP’s learning offer. A key milestone has been the selection of our new Learning Management System. Following a structured evaluation process, two providers were shortlisted, and a preferred option has now been identified. The new platform will be built on Moodle Workplace, with contractual arrangements currently being finalised ahead of implementation. The LMS Task Force continues to meet monthly, ensuring this process remains collaborative and well-informed.
We are also pleased to share that ISSUP has been recognised as a NAADAC Approved Education Provider, following a rigorous review process. This reflects the quality and consistency of our training programmes and marks an important step forward. In time, this will enable ISSUP to offer Continuing Education credits, further strengthening the value of our learning activities once the new system is in place.
Meanwhile, work is progressing on the Introduction to Evidence-Based Prevention (IEP) Global Roll-Out. The strong response—nearly 400 expressions of interest within a month—has highlighted the global demand for accessible prevention training. Those who expressed interest are now being contacted as preparations move forward, with delivery expected to begin in early June across several language groups.
Together, these developments reflect steady and purposeful progress. While much of the work is still happening behind the scenes, each step is helping to build a more accessible and impactful training offer for ISSUP members worldwide.
