The ceremony represented an important milestone for the Chapter as the newly appointed Executive Members formally committed themselves to advancing the mission of ISSUP through leadership, collaboration, professional development and service in the areas of substance use prevention, treatment, recovery and related support services.
The program was moderated by Mr. Troy E. Clarke, Senior Advisor, and commenced with an opening prayer by Pastor David Sands, followed by the singing of the National Anthem.

The Chapter was honoured to receive video greetings from Ms. Kirsty Fitzpatrick, ISSUP National Chapters Coordinator, as well as greetings from Dr. Anthony Hamilton, Corporate Citizen. Dr. Sean Knowles, Assistant Director for New Providence, provided an overview of ISSUP Bahamas, highlighting the Chapter's role and continued commitment to strengthening the national response to substance use and related challenges.
