Covid-19

Social distancing is a privilege that drug and substance abusers cant afford.

In the fight against C.O.V.I.D -19 virus governments across the world are passing strict positions to the effect that public gatherings are now prohibited and social distancing must be prioritized. As an organisation implementing among and working with drug and substance abusers we have seen that social distancing is not working among the youths addicted to drugs. As the fight against the virus intensifies we are of the view that the fight needs to be segmented and focus on different parts of society because society is not homogeneous.
They travel in groups to hustle for drug money ,they smoke in groups they spend the whole day at drug dens waiting for the next fix ,that is the reality in the life of a drug addict ....what then can be done so that social distancing is effected among these youths so that the virus dose not spread
