Dr Morgan is the Chairperson of the international Network of Early Career Addiction Medicine Professionals working in the area of Addiction Medicine (NECPAM).
Since the network’s inception in 2017, Dr Morgan has played a critical role in the network’s development, collaborations and research activities. She has worked in the field of Addiction Psychiatry as a clinician-researcher in South Africa and is currently an Alexander von Humboldt post-doctoral Fellow at the Department of Psychiatry, Ulm University in Germany.
Dr Morgan has published several papers which shed light on the treatment needs of heroin users in South Africa. She is also involved in research collaborations evaluating the education and training needs of early career addiction medicine professionals.
