Call for Speakers: Commemorating the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking and launching the World Drug Report
The Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND) will hold a hybrid event commemorating the United Nations International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking and launching the 2021 World Drug Report.
The event will take place in a hybrid format on June 25th, 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm CEST (Vienna).
The VNGOC has been invited to nominate three civil society participants, who will have the opportunity to make a brief intervention (max. 2 min) during the event.
In addition, the event will be webcast to make sure everyone who is interested will be able to follow.
In order to apply for a speaking slot, please fill out the online form before Monday, 14 June 2021, at 11.55 pm Vienna Time (CEST). Please make sure that your abstract is relevant to the topic of the meeting, keeping in mind the work of the CND, the launch of the 2021 World Drug Report and this year's theme for the World Drug Day "Share Facts, Save Lives".
