Video: Children and adolescents with pandemic use

On May 12, 2020, ISSUP Argentina, in collaboration with ISSUP Global, organized a webinar on children and adolescents with consumption in times of pandemic.

The activity explained the peculiarities of daily life and the new difficulties and opportunities in children and adolescents in times of pandemic. We address the issue of new childhood and adolescence and on new forms of socialization. We analyze possible post-pandemic scenarios to address the prevention and assistance of psychoactive substance use in children and adolescents.

Speaker: Dr. Maria Veronica Brasesco Dra Brasesco
PhD in Psychology, Researcher and Psychotherapist.

He is Professor of Clinical and Epidemiological Research Methodology in Mental Health and Addiction in Doctorate and Master's Degree in Argentina and Uruguay.

He is a Professor of Addiction Prevention in the Master's Degree in Addiction Prevention and Assistance at the Universidad del Salvador, Argentina.

He was a full professor of the Chair of the Psychological Clinic of Children and Adolescents at the University of Palermo in Buenos Aires.

She was director of the Argentine Observatory on Drugs and has conducted numerous research on the use of psychoactive substances in children, adolescents and adults.
