Upcoming Side Event to the CND: "Drug Endangered Children: Identification and Program Success Stories"

Around the globe there are children at risk because they live in homes where a parent or other adult misuses drugs or alcohol. Identifying at risk youth requires cultural knowledge, understanding, awareness, and empathy. This event will demonstrate examples of how to identify a drug endangered child and highlight programs from different parts of the world that work to engage youth in programs that defend youth against possible abuse and empower them to make decisions based on physical and mental health wellness.
