1st International Conference on Drug Research and Policy 2024

Present your work at the 1st International Conference on Drugs Research and Policy 2024!

The global approach to drugs and substance policy is a multifaceted challenge involving numerous nations and organizations. Many United Nations focal points and leading organizations propose drugs policy reforms. The commitments of the drugs policy leading organization include prevention of harm to the drugs consumption, access to rehabilitation for people who use drugs, reducing supply, and trafficking of illicit drugs. However, it's crucial to recognize that drugs policies differ significantly from one country to another, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to drugs control. Some countries have adopted a more liberal approach to drugs use. In contrast, others have taken a more punitive approach, including Indonesia, which has been a feature of the country’s criminal justice system.

The forthcoming International Conference on Drugs Research and Policy 2024 will be an opportunity to bring together policymakers, researchers, healthcare professionals, law enforcement agencies, and civil society organizations to engage in constructive dialogues and knowledge-sharing on contemporary drugs policy issues.
