ICAP GLOBAL STAKEHOLDER SURVEY

ICUDDR are shaping the future of international credentialing for the substance use disorder (SUD) workforce — and your voice matters.

The CCA Commission has launched a new stakeholder survey to support the ongoing strengthening of the International Credential for Addiction Professionals (ICAP). This initiative is part of the Commission’s RoadMap for quality assurance, continuous improvement, and its accreditation readiness programme and future application for accreditation with ISO/IEC17024 and ISO9001.

The survey will help us better understand:

  • Awareness and perceptions of ICAP
  • The relevance of ICAP across practice, education, workforce development, and policy
  • Barriers and opportunities for recognition and uptake
  • Areas for improvement in credentialing systems and stakeholder engagement

Findings will inform future planning, governance, and system strengthening efforts aimed at ensuring ICAP remains credible, accessible, and responsive across diverse global contexts.

All responses will remain confidential, and any published findings will be reported only in aggregate form.

We encourage practitioners, educators, employers, professional bodies, and policy-makers to participate and contribute to the future of the global SUD workforce.

Available in: English, Spanish, French, Brazilian-Portuguese, Swahili, and Arabic
