ISSUP Nigeria Supports Substance Use Prevention Sensitization Programme for Postgraduate Students at the University of Ibadan

ISSUP Nigeria, in collaboration with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and the Department of Guidance and Counselling (University of Ibadan), organised a Substance Use Prevention Sensitization Programme for postgraduate students.

The programme aimed to strengthen participants' knowledge and understanding of evidence-based substance use prevention while equipping them with practical skills and preventive strategies to address substance use challenges within educational institutions and the wider community.

ISSUP Nigeria recently paid a courtesy visit to the NIGCOMSAT Limited Ground Control Station in Abuja.

The ISSUP delegation, led by its President, Dr. Olajumoke Koyejo, was warmly received by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NIGCOMSAT Limited, Jane Egerton-Idehen.

The engagement provided a valuable platform to explore how technology-driven communication solutions can support ISSUP’s outreach, education, and community-focused initiatives, particularly in reaching young people and underserved or hard-to-reach communities.

ISSUP Nigeria Pays Courtesy Visit to the National Human Rights Commission

ISSUP Nigeria has paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Secretary of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), High Chief Dr. Anthony Okechukwu Ojukwu, SAN, as part of efforts to strengthen collaboration on rights-based approaches to substance use prevention, treatment, and recovery in Nigeria.
