The lives of young people are still fundamentally precarious. Unemployment rates are still high; mental health problems among young people are still endemic and new forms of marginalization and social exclusion continue to be generated.
The Society for Social Work and Research will be hosting its 23rd annual conference between the 16th and 23rd of January 2019.
The conference will take place in San Francisco and offers a programme that addresses a diverse range of research interests including child welfare, aging, mental health, welfare reform, addiction and substance abuse, and HIV/AIDS.
