The World Federation for Mental Health (WFMH) invites you to participate in choosing the theme for World Mental Health Day on 10 October 2021. WFMH was launched in 1948 with the aim of promoting mental health and citizenship, mutual understanding through co-operation across professional boundaries, the establishment of mental health services in every country of the world and the promotion of education about mental health, with the aim of empowering people who deliver and receive mental health services.

WFMH established World Mental Health Day in 1992 to expand education about mental health, and it continues this work as an annual project.

The WFMH Board wants to involve global citizens in choosing the theme for World Mental Health Day 2021, and this is my formal invitation asking you to choose this year’s theme from the five topics by the WFMH Board.
