Statement from ISSUP on the terms of our relationship with ISSUP Philippines

Thursday, 27th May 2021: Following a series of meetings with ISSUP Philippines, ISSUP is sharing the news that we no longer have a National Chapter in the Philippines.

We can announce that the legal entity called ‘ISSUP Philippines’ has been notified that it will not be recognised as implementing the mission of ISSUP in the Philippines, and ISSUP has requested that they discontinue use of the ISSUP name, our logo and intellectual property.

Later this year, we will be commencing a new National Chapter engagement process in the Philippines to select partner organisation/s for future National Chapter work. Please check the ISSUP Philippines section of our website for updates on this.

If you were an ISSUP Philippines member, please be assured that you will remain an ISSUP member, and we will continue to include you in our communications and activities. Your membership certificates and My ISSUP profile remain valid.

We thank you for your support of ISSUP and look forward to bringing you news on how ISSUP will work in the Philippines in the future.

Best wishes for your drug demand reduction work.
