The Department for Health at the University of Bath has an exciting new opportunity available for a Policy and Knowledge Exchange Lead to join the team.

About the role

Your role will be to work in consultation with Tobacco Control Research Group’s (TCRG) strategic leadership team and develop and implement a plan to increase the reach and awareness of and secure diverse impacts from the work of the TCRG (including its work on tobacco and beyond) and the wider research groupings in which it participates including the Beacon for 21st Century Public Health.

These impacts will include but not be limited to policy change.

You will have experience of translating research into action and the ability to engage with the media and stakeholders across multiple sectors, including at high level. This plan should reflect both the REF (ie impact) and KEF agendas at the University of Bath.

TCRG is a multidisciplinary, international research group at the University of Bath. Our work focuses on the commercial determinants of health. We specifically examine how major corporations influence health and policy; evaluate the impacts of policy change on health; and provide evidence to inform the development of new policy.

This role is offered on a full time (36.5 hours per week) permanent basis.
