Mohammad has over 23 years of experience in hospital pharmacy practices. He commenced his career at King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Jeddah, where he was selected as a champion for medication safety, medication error reporting, and the management of cod boxes (crash cart medications).

Previously, Mohammad held leadership roles in various hospitals, including leading the Pharmacy Department at University Hospital in Sharjah and heading the Pharmacy departments at Tawam and Al Ain hospitals in the Al Ain Region. Notably, he founded the Clinic-Based Pharmacist Model and oversaw its implementation at the Behavioral Science Institute in Al Ain Hospital.

Mohammad played a key role in planning and commissioning the pharmacy department at the new Al Ain Hospital (Sheikh Tahnon Medical City), introducing full automation pharmacy solutions for both outpatient and inpatient pharmacy services. His efforts earned the hospital the Distinguished Pharmacy Health Award in Dubai in January 2017. Earlier, he served as the Medication Safety Supervisor and Quality Coordinator at the Pharmaceutical Institute from January 2011, also chairing the SEHA Medication Safety Committee in the Abu Dhabi Health Service Company.

Dr. Ibrahim Khafagy 

Ibrahim Khafagy is currently a Pharmacotherapy Specialist at the National Rehabilitation Centre (NRC) in the UAE. Previously, he served as the lead pharmacist at Al Ain Hospital, responsible for providing Medication Therapy Management services to the mental health services section. With over 15 years of experience in various hospital pharmacy settings, he is Board Certified in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) and Medication Therapy Management (BCMTM). Additionally, he holds certification as a professional in healthcare quality (CPHQ). He is also a graduate of the Principles and Practice of Clinical Research (PPCR) program by Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
