Prepare and deliver capacity building for PWID focal points in Malawi to promote harm reduction. Deliver tailored trainings, based on developed training package on establishing and implementing OAT programmes for and with people who use drugs.

The consultant will deliver as the main trainer, together with UNODC staff and local experts, following activities:

  • Research, revision and comments for Malawi National Drug Control Policy • One three-day harm reduction training in Malawi
  • Prepare the teaching materials and adjust it if needed, and will do the pre- and post-training evaluation for the Malawi training
  • Six tailored national trainings on OAT
  • The consultant will support Section with preparation of relevant presentations, events and conferences
