ISSUP Nigeria recently paid a courtesy visit to the NIGCOMSAT Limited Ground Control Station in Abuja.
The ISSUP delegation, led by its President, Dr. Olajumoke Koyejo, was warmly received by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NIGCOMSAT Limited, Jane Egerton-Idehen.
The engagement provided a valuable platform to explore how technology-driven communication solutions can support ISSUP’s outreach, education, and community-focused initiatives, particularly in reaching young people and underserved or hard-to-reach communities.
The visit highlighted the potential for strategic collaboration between the public health and technology sectors, underscoring the importance of innovative partnerships in strengthening prevention, education, and professional capacity development in the substance use field.
