Observed annually on September 30, International Recovery Day is an online global movement dedicated to embracing all addictions, all recovery pathways, and all those touched by addiction. It is a day of unity, remembrance, and inspiration—honoring the resilience of those in recovery, mourning those lost to addiction, supporting those still struggling, and standing in solidarity with the families and friends impacted by this journey.

International Recovery Day is more than a date—it’s a movement. Last year we had nearly 80 thousand participants representing all seven continents! From lighting up landmarks in purple to personal stories, local events, and global awareness campaigns, this day unites people worldwide in a powerful message:

Recovery is real, and it deserves to be celebrated.

Join the movement ~ Spread the message!

Together, we make recovery visible worldwide.
