On Tuesday, May 12, the first meeting of the "Addiction Prevention and Youth Union" project was held at the headquarters of the Railway Workers' Union. The project is led by the Forum Vitae Institute of the Railway Social Welfare Organization, ISSUP Argentina, and ITTC Argentina.

Thirty-two young union leaders from various provinces across Argentina participated in this initial meeting. These young people will begin the INEP Plus (Introduction to Evidence-Based Prevention) training program, guided and mentored by the ISSUP Argentina team, the Forum Vitae Institute, and representatives from ITTC Argentina.

Argentina has more than 25,000 railway workers distributed throughout the country. The objective of this training, which offers certification from Charles University (Czech Republic) and ISSUP Argentina, is to develop evidence-based prevention programs for railway workers nationwide. This presentation was attended by the General Secretary of the UF (Sergio Sasia), the General Secretary of Youth (Luciano Sasia), the General Secretary of Health (Delicia Codigone), the President of the Railway Social Welfare Fund (Dr. Juan Cifre), the Director of the Forum Vitae Institute (Dr. Roberto Canay), and the Director of ISSUP Argentina (Dr. Nicolás Poliansky).

This activity is part of the ongoing development that the Railway Social Welfare Fund and the Railway Union have been carrying out for more than 15 years in the areas of prevention and workplace safety practices.
