The purpose of this training is to provide clinicians with a culturally-specific point of reference relating to conceptualising, assessing, coordinating, and implementing treatment specifically to women of colour.
Clients aren’t “resistant” - they’re inadequately warmed up to change, and as clinicians, it is our job to help them lower their anxiety, stay engaged in the process, and increase their emotional, physical, and spiritual capacity.
