The Prevention Specialist supports gambling harm-prevention programming delivered through a variety of methods at The Gambling Clinic (TGC). TGC is the prevention and treatment-focused arm of the Tennessee Institute of Gambling Education and Research (TIGER) a grant-funded team located at the University of Memphis and East Tennessee State University and a national leading research institute for the assessment and treatment of gambling disorders. The Prevention Specialist supports gambling harm prevention programming for dissemination through a variety of delivery methods. The Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive program services and technical assistance in a specialized area (gambling-prevention focused programming). The role will also be responsible for supporting the evaluation of the effectiveness of all programs developed and implemented for public education.
