European Society for Prevention Research (EUSPR)

The European Society for Prevention Research (EUSPR) will advance the science base of environmental, universal, selective and indicated prevention aimed at improving human health and well-being and addressing health inequalities.

Cornerstones of this advancement are: cross-disciplinary networks of scientists, policy makers and practitioners, methodology development, promotion of higher education and career development in prevention and implementation research.

14th EUSPR Conference

EUSPR 2023 is being held in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in October 5th and 6th 2023, with workshops and project meetings scheduled for the pre-conference day, October 4th. 

Our theme this year is ‘Optimizing Prevention Infrastructures’ and our keynotes and special sessions will focus on discussing the challenges facing prevention science.  

12th EUSPR Conference and Members’ Meeting

The EUSPR Early Careers Forum offers early-career members of the EUSPR a dedicated platform for professional exchange and mutual support. Members of the Early Careers Forum include: researchers, policy-makers and practitioners who entered the prevention field within the last 8 years; current students of a prevention-related discipline at Masters or doctoral level; as well as senior colleagues interested to support early-career activities.
