Gambling and gaming expansion is developing at high rates across the globe. With ease of access and legalization, prevalence of risky and problematic gambling and gaming increases.
This conference aims to bring together clinicians, treatment service providers, policy makers, national and local government agencies, civic society organizations, non-governmental organizations, community members, and researchers, to collectively address the pressing issue of problem gambling and gaming, with a focus on:
- Effective gambling and gaming prevention approaches for children, adolescents, and/or adults and families
- Effective gambling and gaming treatment approaches for individuals and families
- Responsible gambling and gaming practices
- Public policy or other advocacy considerations for legalization and expansion to promote reduction of harm
