Interesting topic, and I’m glad this study looks at university students specifically because peer norms and “sports culture” can blur into betting habits fast. I also wish the thread had more than a “wow,” since the details on prevalence and risk factors in the Czech context could help prevention work. On my campus I’ve seen betting talk get mixed with promo-code chatter in group chats, including links such as https://andarbahargames.com/promo-codes/ which felt out of place next to actual sports discussions. Another time someone dropped https://funkytimegame.org/promocodes/ during a match watch party and it derailed the conversation into gambling rather than the game. It would be great to hear how the authors suggest universities respond without pushing the whole thing underground.
