Influence of One Stop Centre (OSC) Program on Improving the Quality of Life of Drug Users at Mitra Adhyaksa Rehabilitation, Menur Hospital in 2024
Drug abuse has significant negative impacts on all aspects of life. Rehabilitation serves as an integrated facility for addiction recovery, aiming to enhance the quality of life of drug users. The One Stop Centre (OSC) program at Mitra Adhyaksa Rehabilitation integrates medical rehabilitation, social rehabilitation, and aftercare into a unified rehabilitation system based on five core components: medical treatment, psychotherapy, community therapy, spiritual therapy, and the Narcotics Anonymous concept.
WHOQOL-BREF instrument, known for its validity and reliability, was used to measure participants' quality of life. This research aims to evaluate the impact of the OSC program on improving the Quality Of Life (QOL) of drug users at Mitra Adhyaksa Rehabilitation, Menur Hospital, in 2024.
The study employs a qualitative research method with a descriptive-analytical approach and the population consists of all drug users undergoing the NAPZA rehabilitation program from January to December 2024, in total 156 patients. The sample includes 125 patients who meet the inclusion criteria: participated in the rehabilitation program for three months, not having a dual diagnosis (DD), male, and voluntarily agreeing to participate in the study.
The results indicate improvements across all four WHOQOL domains: physical health increased by 26.36%, psychological well-being by 40.34%, social relationships by 35.33%, and environmental adaptation by 29.89%. These findings suggest that the OSC rehabilitation program positively impacts multiple aspects of drug user’s lives, including physical and mental health, social relationships, and adaptability to their environment.
