Webinar on 12-step facilitation in recovery
The Ecolink Alumni Association, a network of professionals who underwent UTC training in 13 batches with Ecolink Institute, India, is hosting an international webinar on ‘12 step facilitation in addiction recovery’ on November 29 at 5 PM (Indian time).
The webinar is part of a monthly webinar series exploring evidence-based frameworks in addiction recovery through the integration of clinical counselling and 12-Step philosophy.
S. Raman Iyer, a leading Addiction and Mental Health Counsellor, Founder of T.A.R.A. Counselling and Intervention Services and John A. Smith, Recovery Specialist and Founder of TTK Life and Recovery Strategies, will be the key facilitators.
This November edition introduces Twelve-Step Facilitation (TSF) - an evidence-based, manual-guided therapeutic approach designed to help individuals engage meaningfully with the AA/NA 12-step recovery process.
Twelve-Step Facilitation (TSF) is a structured, evidence-based counselling model. The webinar will also discuss prevention, relapse management, and community reintegration through the 12-Step model.
The event is hosted by the new management board of the association, headed by John Smith (Thailand) as president and Shalini Sagar (India) as secretary, Ayesha Hoorzook (South Africa) as treasurer, Devika Rani as coordinator, and Raman Iyer as Vice president.
