RECOVERY TRAINING CHANGES AND HEALS LIVES.

URC Allies Training by Fahari Wellness (TP with CPDAP) where participants from 6 countries namely - Philippines, Kenya, Ghana, Pakistan, Zambia and Ireland attended

Working in the Addiction Recovery Space has taught me that we can build recovery-oriented communities by acquiring the relevant skills and knowledge, such as the framework in the Universal Recovery Curriculum (URC). Additionally, through experience in recovery spaces, I have seen that every word carries the power to either harm or heal.

Knowing that language shapes belief and belief shapes behaviour is a good place to start. Too often, labels overshadow people, but when we replace judgment with respect, we create space for healing. When we change our words, we change outcomes, and one way to start this is by getting trained in the Universal Recovery Curriculum (URC), which is for professionals and peers seeking internationally aligned recovery education.

The Recovery Allies Training - URC 2: Delivering Recovery Support Services: The Recovery Allies (Allies Link and Lend Inventive Engaging Support) Model continues to lead the way in creating stigma-free, recovery-oriented environments where individuals are met and supported with dignity, respect, and hope. Through intentional, evidence-based training, professionals and community members learn how non-stigmatizing, person-first language strengthens connection, restores identity, and supports long-term recovery.

By becoming a Recovery Ally, you are not just gaining certification; you are joining a movement that believes in dignity over labels, compassion over stigma, and people over problems. The just-concluded URC Training by Fahari Wellness & Life Coaching ( A Training partner with CP-DAP) is another milestone achieved to help increase the number of trained professionals in the Recovery space.

Indeed, Recovery is possible.
