This one day training looks at brief and extended interventions for working with parents who use drugs and alcohol. This course delivers essential insights into the issues surrounding parental substance misuse and safeguarding along with skills for working with parents who are problematic drug and alcohol users. It is designed for anyone who’s work brings them into contact with parents who have issues with substance misuse.

This webinar examines how hope and resilience influence the complex grief experienced by family members impacted by their loved one’s substance use disorder and how demographic factors among family members may moderate these effects.
Join our two-day training course, which explores the effects of substance use in the family on children, and how to support them. It covers both direct support for children and young people, and how to support non-substance using parents or other adults to support children appropriately.
