Mision and Objectives: The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) is committed to making the world safer from drugs, organized crime, corruption, and terrorism. UNODC supports Member States in implementing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, particularly by strengthening the rule of law, promoting effective and humane justice systems, and implementing health-oriented responses to drug use. The programme consolidates operational activities, including intelligence-sharing platforms and public-private partnerships, to reduce the trafficking of dangerous substances not yet under international control. The GRIDS Programme focuses on non-medical synthetic opioids, NPS, and related chemicals and precursors, leveraging INCB’s global network and expertise to facilitate voluntary intelligence exchange among Member States.
