ISSUP is proud to celebrate and honour the work of individuals, organisations, projects and initiatives in the drug demand reduction field. It is for this reason that we have decided to create awards to celebrate the hard work that has been completed around the world.
This year the ISSUP Awards were presented during the Closing Ceremony of the Joint NACADA, ISSUP and African Union Conference & Workshop and were given in three categories:
- ISSUP Evidence-Based Drug Demand Reduction Initiative Award
- ISSUP Services to Drug Demand Reduction Award (Early Career, Excellence, Lifetime Achievement)
- ISSUP Local Drug Demand Reduction Initiative Award: Kenya
