On the 21st of November 2023, Dr. Rahul Gupta, the Director of the Executive Office of the President at the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), in collaboration with Professor John and Gary B Applegarth, the First Secretary of Political Affairs at the US Embassy, paid a visit to the distinctive De-Addiction cum Rehabilitation Center operated by SPYM. This center holds a unique focus on addressing the needs of the homeless population and is situated in close proximity to Kotla Mubarakpur. The visit underscores the collaborative efforts between key government officials and dedicated organizations to address the critical issue of addiction within the homeless community.
