Alcohol Research Support Assistant

The School of Psychology seeks to appoint a Research Assistant to work with a small group of academics and clinicians on a mixed methods project investigating the incidence of alcohol dependence in Primary Care in Liverpool CCG, and investigating potential barriers to treatment.

This project is funded by Liverpool CCG and will produce a report containing recommendations for alcohol treatment pathways in primary care on its completion.

You will support the principal investigator and research team in analysing the quantitative data from LCCG primary care database, collecting and analysing qualitative data (interviews and focus groups with key stakeholders) and completing a final report.

Key to this role will be supporting the co-ordination of the project which will involve liaison with primary care health care professionals and patients.
