Frostburg State University, Department of Psychology, seeks applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology position to begin in Fall 2023.
Candidates should have the ability to teach counselling and addictions courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. Candidates will be given the option to teach a course within their area of interest. This position will involve coordinating our undergraduate and graduate Addictions Emphasis programs. Candidates will be expected to advise both undergraduate and graduate students. Candidates should show a commitment to involving undergraduate and graduate students in research. Applicants should foster a climate accepting of students from diverse backgrounds and integrating multicultural issues into courses.
Experience Required
Doctorate in Counselling/Clinical Psychology, preferably from an APA accredited program. License eligibility in the State of Maryland as a Psychologist or LCPC. Evidence of ability to teach both in the undergraduate and graduate Psychology programs.
