Presenter:
Fatima Abiola Popoola
 

Fatima Abiola Popoola works with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and currently the Assistant Director, Sensitization in the Drug Demand Reduction Department of the Agency with office in Abuja. She is a United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) trained addiction counselor and Master Trainer for Drug Prevention Treatment and Care (DPTC). She is also a Universal Recovery Curriculum (URC) Master Trainer for Colombo Plan Drug Advisory Programme.

Fatima holds a Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling and is currently undergoing her PhD programme in Guidance and Counseling at the University of Abuja. As a researcher, Fatima has presented some of her work at both local and international conferences.

For three years, Fatima was the Kaduna state Coordinator of ISSUP Nigeria Chapter and presently the Assistant Zonal Coordinator for ISSUP in North Central Nigeria. She has attended both local and international ISSUP conferences.
