International Medicine in Addiction Conference 2021 will take place online from the 26-28th of Feb.
This year’s theme of ‘Connecting the Disconnected’ acknowledges that doctors work with patients and communities who use substances that can cause complex issues, disconnection and marginalisation, and that they need to respond to people’s unique situations and issues.
In this conference project partners in Austria, Belgium and Portugal will, first, present the curriculum for the SWaPOL training, and second, open the discussion about opportunities for similar cross-disciplinary vocational training between police and social work in Europe in the future.
