“Emergency Psychology and Trauma Clinic”

The post-graduate study course “Psychology of Emergency and Clinical Trauma”, organized by the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences of The Kore University of Enna, aims to train the figure of the Psychologist or Physician with skills in Psychology of Emergency and Clinical Trauma, ensuring a broad theoretical preparation in addition to the acquisition of technical skills that allow to assess and take charge of the complexity related to exposure to critical events. It also intends to open up spaces for research and in-depth study in the field of emergency psychology, fostering a multidisciplinary approach to human problems, both in territorial, hospital and private diagnostic- clinical settings, as well as in the field of expert witnesses. Possible professional outlets are in the following areas Public and private health care facilities, freelance practice, humanitarian associations.

All those with degrees in Psychology (LM-51) and Medicine and Surgery (LM-41) or other equivalent degrees deemed congruent by the post-graduate study course Directorate may enroll. The post-graduate study course confers 60 CFUs (1500h) equal to 50 CMEs (Continuing Medical Education) and lasts one year. It will take place one weekend a month with classes from Friday to Sunday, plus two intensive weeks, at the buildings of the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences of the University of Enna "Kore". Activities are scheduled to begin in October 2022. The application deadline is June 30, 2022. F
