Addiction Recovery Specialist

• Coordinates level of care (LOC) assessment on inmates with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).
• Seeks to identify and assess inmates with OUD, recommends and secures, as warranted, an alternative-to-incarceration program at pre-trial, and connects the inmate to ongoing care following release.
• The LOC assessment will adhere to the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) guidelines and recommend an appropriate level of addiction treatment for inmates upon their release from incarceration and will be available to judges pre-trial to utilize at sentencing.
• Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
