My Name is Curt Richards, I am a member of the Customs Anti Narcotic Unit Guyana which is headed by Mr. James Singh, who is also a CICAD Commissioner as well as the Head of the National Drug Oversighting Committee.
I am employed as a Technical Officer II, I also serve as the Head of the Guyana Drug Information Network; GUYDIN is the primary mechanism for coordinating cooperation among the key stakeholders engaged in the fight against illegal drug use in Guyana; this includes "Demand Reduction Agencies as well as Supply Reduction Agencies", whether government or non-government.
Additionally, the GUYDIN collects data from these agencies, analyzes it, and produces an annual report to aid in the formulation of policies aimed at reducing the national drug phenomenon.
