ISSUP at the Sixty-Third UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs

ISSUP Chief Executive Joanna Travis-Roberts and Deputy Director Livia Edegger attended the Sixty-Third UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs being held in Vienna this week.

The Commission for Narcotic Drugs (CND) brings together a range of stakeholders, from policy makers to practitioners. It was established by the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) to assist in supervising the application of the international drug control treaties. However, the event consists of a series of side events and networking opportunities that allow for all sectors of the field to engage with each other.

Whilst we’re here, ISSUP is using this great opportunity to bring together our National Chapters who are attending, to plan for future ISSUP events, and meet with partners and other interested parties.
